Belleville has Laval's number this year and even most of the second half of the season last year.

Laval is 0-2-1 against the Sens this season.

GOAL! Jake Evans with a beautiful shorthanded goal.

He goes on a 2-on-1 with Joe Cox, the defenseman kind of focused on cutting the pass, but he did it too early, which opened up a lane for Evans to get in closer. He dekes Daccord and scores. Great display of patience there by Evans.

Good first period for Laval so far. It's not complete domination. But they're trading chances. Although Laval is doing well defensively.

Daccord with a terrible giveaway in the middle of the zone and Jevpalovs intercepts it. But he missed.

And now Hudon went on a breakaway. He deked Daccord but lost his balance and never got a shot off. He had Daccord beat.

All of this could come back to bite them. Even though midway through the 2nd period, Belleville only has 7 total shots in the game.

Great save by Kinkaid.

Belleville with consistent pressure on Laval for the first time this game.

McEneny off to the box.
