Jeanneret is not what I consider a 'homer'. He calls the Sabres' moments with great enthusiasm, of course, but nothing wrong with that.

What he never does -- and what ass-clowns like Jack Edwards always do -- is insult the opponent.

I don't pay too much attetion to announcers but this guy has always been probably my favorite. I still have MILLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRR! ringing in my ears from a decade ago. Loved his passionate style.

I loved Hasek when I was really young, so I heard his voice a lot in highlights on TV. I always thought his calls were fun and unique. He had some good big moment calls, and his drawn out goal call is wild for huge home playoff goals. I couldn't bring myself to dislike him, even when he was homer calling those crazy playoff series against my Sens.

I hope he has a good last year and has a wonderful retirement.
