If it's for hockey then yes.
If it's for baseball then why?

I probably should have thrown this on the op but I already have a batting helmet and don't really wanna spend on a new helmet

A hockey helmet and a batting helmet are not the same at all. Besides no rink that requires a helmet to go on the ice (most for public skating, pretty much all for hockey or stick and puck) is gonna let you get away with something that ridiculous. Oh and a visor and a cage are two different things (neither of which belong on a baseball helmet).
