Adding a team logo to pant shells

I want to add my beer team's logo to a pair of pant shells I have without having to order custom shells. I've found at least one place online that will make patches and figured I could get a custom patch made and have it ironed and sew on to the pant shell.

Has anyone tried anything like this or foresee it not working?

That would work just fine. The other thing you can do is find a local place that does embroidery and they can just embroider it on once you get the shell.

I think he's just talking about the shell. So pads wouldn't be an issue there.
