I'd like to run an active players GM draft, where we keep it simple and have a snake style draft order and try to assemble the best possible teams, while staying under a set cap limit.
Upon completion we'll have voting based on randomized match ups in the General forum (polls section) to determine an overall winner.
I'd like at least 12 teams but we can increase if the interest is there. Feel free to ask any questions when you sign up.
Rules:
1. Active NHL Players (must have played at least 1 NHL game within the past year).
2. Prospects that have 0 NHL experience are NOT eligible.
3. CAP LIMIT WILL BE 80 MILLION BASED ON PLAYERS 2013-2014 CAP HIT. We will use capgeek.com.
4. Snake style draft order (1st pick in round 1, picks last in round 2).
5. 2 Hour limit per pick (can work out details as need be)
6. Clock runs 10 AM EST-10 PM EST (not including weekends, major holidays)
7. NO TRADING DURING THE DRAFT. PLAYERS MAY BE DEALT AFTERWARDS BEFORE WE START VOTING. (We can work out those details as need be)
8. Proxies are encouraged and PLEASE PM THE NEXT PERSON IN LINE AFTER YOU PICK.
