explain whats going on?


Previously all “Club” hockey was under ACHA?

And there was a split, from what I am gathering with mainly Southern Schools moving to AAU?

What is the benefit of this vs ACHA?

How does AAU D1 stack up with ACHA D1?

Woulsnt it make more sense for the leagues to reunify under 1 consolidated sanctioning body?

I think the AAU teams split off over some disagreement about scheduling for the national championship tournaments. Just remember reading something about that when AAU started hockey.

Two separate leagues is DUMB!
