Just to start this party

First Line
Danny Grant - Bones Raleigh (C) - Blaine Stoughton
vs
Shawn McEachern (A) --- Robert Lang --- Ray Sheppard

Bones Raleigh >= Robert Lang
Danny Grant < Ray Sheppard
Blaine Stoughton < Shawn McEachern

Edge Seattle

Second Line
Alex Shibicky - Dutch Reibel - Joe Carveth
vs
Rick Dudley --- Jozef Stumpel --- Mike Bullard

Dutch Reibel << Jozef Stumpel
Alex Shibicky > Mike Bullard (Mainly because of the question of Bullards RW eligibiliy)
Joe Carveth > Rick Dudley

Tie, better center for Seattle, but the wingers have question marks.

Edge Seattle

I think we need to look at the wingers as a whole as Sheppard/Stoughton are the one dimensional wingers whereas Grant and McEachern are the glue players. I don't think there's really a significant edge anywhere. McEachern is more rounded than Grant, but Grant is a better goal scorer. Sheppard was probably a bit better goal scorer than Stoughton which helps to erase the goal edge Grant has.

McEachern better than Stoughton? How?

I personally have Grant ahead of Sheppard due to VsX and neither bringing anything else major to the table, and they're not even close in that regard, but this has got me wondering if maybe it's just a case of badly chosen benchmarks in some seasons. Because career-wise, they look pretty close. Sheppard was very Tim Kerr-like in that he wasn't as good as his numbers, and was a very linemate-dependent, visually unappealing player.
