A year of upsets?

It seems most lower seeds are leading/winning the first round so far? The only higher seed that can clinch next game is the Condors.

I have not followed AHL playoffs previously. Must be parity this season?

First round series are often a crapshoot, due to the 5-game format & usually pairing regional rivals (except when Charlotte is involved). Charlotte in the Atlantic & Chicago in the Central both had double-digit point advantages coming out of the regular season, so maybe the "parity" switch gets flipped come playoff time.
