I'm really hoping for this.

Doubt anyone would've guessed that was a possibility before the playoffs.

My father is 100% so far during his playoff pool. For what it is worth he has Montreal and Islanders in the finals. I laughed at him when he picked it.

The OP is a Pittsburgh fan, why would he be trying to jinx the Lightning one has to ask. I would say 90% it does happen. Both the Islanders and Habs are massive underdogs.

As much as I'd like to take credit for the first thread, that thread wasn't mine.

And why am I doing this? Because it's inevitable. ;)
Since last season these teams have played each other ten times, five wins each.

Isles are on a 4 game win streak and are dictating play. Game 1 rush chances Isles 9 TB zero. Would you even think that was possible?

Inevitable, sure.

Not sure what would happen if Habs play the Isles for the cup. There is only one other Westerner in my town in Korea that is a hockey fan (that I know of) and he's a Habs fan. We usually celebrate Leaf's Elimination Day together, but not sure what we would do if our teams faced each other in the finals.

I still can't believe people aren't getting the purpose of this thread :help:
