JON COOPER: "It's just tough. I'm a Floridian now, I've been there for a long time, and once you've been there a little you become accustomed that this is something that might happen, but you never know until it does. We're in professional sports, and so we do have that ability to be able to move, and take everybody and go somewhere else. A lot of people don't. I have to thank Jeff Vinik for doing everything he's done to make sure we can still have a training camp, but to be honest when you're here, and all the preplanning you have to do, at times your heart just isn't really into it because you're thinking about everyone that didn't have the oppertunity to leave. I give credit to the governor, the mayor, everybody that gave us ample oppertunity and a heads up that something like this was gonna happen, but you never know until it comes, how devastating it's going to be. Watching some of the pictures especially a little south of where we are, it's hard to not sit and think about friends you have back there, and things that are going on. So focus probably hasn't been there for many of us becuase we're thinking about what's going on there. We cancelled the game (Wednesday), we have a couple more the next few days, and hopefully we'll get good news about what is going on there, and people are getting through this, and it'll make it easier for us."

"We're calling this 'Vinik's Ark' with the amount of people, animals, dogs, cats, kids, (we have here with us). I think of the Coles. They have a newborn that can't be 4 or 5 days old and they've had to relocate here. There's just so many things going on with everybody that's outside of hockey. Part of us being professionals is making sure we're getting ourselves ready for October 11th, but taking into account everything that's going on, and trying to make sure that we're there for them and their families, outside of what's going on in hockey, and what we're doing right now is way down on the pole of what's going on. Hopefully like I said, we wake up tomorrow and hear a bunch of good news, and we can get on with our training camp."
