On that lineup-sheet, Sheahan and Aubry were marked as LW, so I think they will be the wingers of that center logjam.

No. I think they wanted a look at him before sending him down.

Sounds weird, but Griffins is pretty stacked even with the Jensen-injury.

There's enough skilled defencemen, Nicastro gives a better fit as a physical D.

One injury or Almquist promotion in NHL (injury for NHL-guy), and Marchenko is back on the roster. Those will always happen.

Goalies often start down there and he was immediately brought up. I even like Nicastro, think the five games he and Smith played together last year in GR were outstanding. But Marchenko didn't cross the pond to play ECHL hockey and watch him tonight, the guy has way too much skill to be down there.

He played on one the KHL giants, granted his ice time wasn't great, but he has moved his wife with him to NA and is willing to do GR, but I am guessing not Toledo and he shouldn't have to, for instance he has already played in a higher quality league than Evans ever has.
