[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

You start thinking that way (tanking) and it would be horrible hockey karma.
The first round is the toughest no matter what. It’s always a battle to get through it.
We’re not picking an opponent.
- Marc Staal

For some reason this year, the Isles have been better.
If we face them again this year, we would just have to make sure we change the outcome.
- Henrik Lundqvist

We did play well the first two periods. We had some real good looks, good offensive zone time and we just didn’t finish.
That part of the game I didn’t like, but you know what you’re doing to lead up to get those looks was real good.
- Alain Vigneault

After AV's inspiring endorsement I fully expect Tanner Glass to do nothing at all.

On one hand, I want the Rangers to lose in OT to get 100 points on the season, but on the other hand, then that creates the danger of the Isles having to get more than 1 point in the last 2 games...Screw it, just lose. Isles have to get a point against Buffalo right? But of course watch them lose both.

Flyers fan coming in peace - are you concerned at all that the team, including the coach, seems to be scared of the Pens? Not exactly a winning mentality going into the post-season.
That said, please win!

If anything, I'm more concerned that this team seems to think they're the team to beat and that they wouldn't mind facing the Pens.

I can't remember the last time I thought a team should really lose a game...
