Looking over rosters and stuff, one thing that really sticks out is how few players are actually still active in 2020 from that series. It was only 9 years ago and even a lot of the guys in their early-to-mid-20s on those teams are retired. Really underscores the amount of turnover in this league. It feels like there are more older players than there really are.
It's also astounding to me is that with all of the turnover and players who have come and gone in that timeframe, one of the players from that playoff run who is actually still active this year is, of all people, Stephen Kampfer.
