Imagine if Bedard goes to Arizona. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there has ever been a top pick actually make it to the NHL only to play in an arena smaller than the one he was playing in during minors. The Brandt Centre in Regina holds 6K while Mullett Arena only seats 5K.

I must have missed when they changed the rule so teams 12-16 can only move up 10 spots, dumb rule. Arizona could be fun. Draft Bedard, get their arena in Tempe done and sign Matthews after next season. Things might finally start looking up for them. Just not Montreal.
