sounds like a really good pick.

It's funny both our seventh rounders were ranked in the 70's by central scouting. i feel we did pretty good for what we had.

Weren't they both 70s in NA skaters? I think I saw that one of them was 155 overall. I don't remember for sure.

Yup, Perron ranked 70th and Summers ranked 73, and Miles Gendron was ranked 74 xD.

Meh.

With your 7th round picks, you can gamble on high-skill guys like Perron. If he's not strong enough to play NHL hockey, you're really not out any valuable assets.

7th round picks are essentially lottery tickets. Might as well shoot for the moon.
