Kraken are 9-7 in their last 16 games, and have 6 games left to the Flyers 4.
We're one point ahead of them, so they have a good opportunity to jump ahead.
So finish in the 3rd spot and end up with Nemec.

Um, you do realize that the team with the 3rd worst record has a less than 1 in 10 chance of actually picking 3rd, right?

odds to pick 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th/6th

3rd to last: 10.9/10.9/7.0/39.7/31.5/0
4th to last: 9.7/9.9/0/13.7/43.6/23.1

All depends on a later pick jumping ahead, pushing the 3rd pick to 4th. But same risk of the 4th being pushed to 5th.
So you're still better off finishing 3rd rather than 4th.

Gotta get a good look at the kids like Jones, Thompson and Yandle.
Sandstrom was recalled due to "emergency conditions" which apparently is voided now that Hart is listed as the reserve (unless the NHL is listing it incorrectly) That could change for tomorrow's game.

Now updated by the NHL. Sandstrom is the reserve goalie listed.

There may be a stipulation how often a goalie can play under "emergency conditions" if another goalie is healthy.
