how to stop this team? they are playing insane lately and I hate saying that. not sure what mike sullivan has been doing since taking over, but he is using his team skill. plus all of this without malkin.

I'm hoping we put a better effort against them.

we need the 2, but we need to atleast get 1.

As I said in PGT, I've heard from someone who knows him said the plan is for Stolarz is to go tomorrow. He was flying to Pittsburgh right after the game early instead of with the team for extra rest

Need to get under their skin like old times. Gudas needs to introduce himself to the rivalry.

Debut for a rookie goalie against the red hot Pittsburgh in their building while fighting for the play-offs and every single point? Hmm.

Maybe Hakstol feels comfortable starting him against Murray off a back to back or Zatkoff

Pitt sure changed the way they play. Very good in their own end and great play from their forwards both ways that cause odd man rushes with their speed and talent.

this is prolly the hardest game to guess score predictor all year.

Stolie is obviously a unknown factor. but really not sure what to expect from Flyers..

really wanna think win. but im more braced for like a 5-2 blowout loss..

guess we'll know early on after puck drop.. hopefully Roo comes out on fire and straps the team to his back.

be sweet if he could demolish Cindy in a board chek and score right after like a few years back. that was such a epic shift

Since we won the WAS game I view this game as our "game in hand" and take what we get. IMO a great effort is just as important

1 point would be huge. Would basically force Detroit to beat us in regulation on Wednesday.

Kind of have to start Stolarz no matter how you look at it. What's the point of making the playoffs if you run your only healthy goalie, who's a vital member of the team's winning, completely ragged by the time the playoffs come? I'd like to make the playoffs, but not at Mason's expense or at the expense of being able to put up a good fight in the first round at least.

More importantly however, we have a game in hand on Detroit and we're also ahead of Boston and two behind Islanders (who have Hamonic injured). We play Detroit and the Islanders both once more. Those games are extremely important and just winning them alone could get use as high as the top WC or at least the last WC. These two Pittsburgh games don't really matter nearly as much and the Leafs game...well, it's the post-deadline Leafs. If we play Stolarz tomorrow we get to give Mason a large break in between now and the Detroit game (assuming Stolarz doesn't need to be pulled) which is the most important game left.

Besides, Stolarz has been patient and deserves rewarding and I'd like to see what he has in him at the moment. It's also kind of pointless to just have him sit and never play, if that were the case you might as well just have Emery be that guy.

One point and I'll be happy, two and I'll be exuberant and surprised. Most importantly, I'd like to see Stolarz play very well as that would be great to see.

With Detroit winning tonite we have to win or we'll probably be down by 2 pts Wednesday. Not looking that good now.

We're one point up on Boston with a game in hand and they have Chicago tomorrow. We're in good shape right now. Any points out of this one would be huge.
