[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

The last two years we were grinding it out to the end, so it’s a good feeling to clinch.
Your goal from the start of the year is to get into the playoffs, get into the tournament. Now we want to finish as high as we can in the standings.
- Marc Staal

We weren’t happy with the way we played against LA. I think we did a lot of good things against Anaheim.
We made some strides in the right direction tonight, but it doesn’t mean a whole lot if you don’t build on that.
- Chris Kreider

We probably caught their goalie on an off night and we capitalize early and once we got the lead, we played pretty well other than giving them power plays.
We played pretty well away from the puck and are able to take it home, get two points and clinch a playoff spot.
- Alain Vigneault

Hank! I hope the mods are ready for if he gets scored on.

Two afternoon games in a row. Really weird schedule this year.

I would've waited until tomorrow to start Honk, but that's just me. Hopefully he doesn't have too much rust.

Will the real Rick Nash please stand up? I repeat, will the real Rick Nash please stand up?

This GDT is going to be hilarious when Hank gives up a goal. Somebody please compile all the best posts!

So ****ing excited to see the King in net today. I think the guys really step up for him.

Guess Girardi is good to go, too, which is great.

Gonna be a tough game. Another potential first-round matchup preview. Thursday, today, and tomorrow.

The Bruins will show up today after a god awful loss to the Ducks, so I think Henrik will be seeing plenty of shots which is good. Oddly, it seems every time in his career he faces like 16-22 shots he doesn't have his best games. Hank has always been the best when he faces more shots, keeps his mind focused on the game.

NHL****ingNetwork, great. Jack Edwards to ruin my Saturday afternoon.

Have I said how much I hate NHL Network?

It's not Edwards that bothers me. It is that sniveling baby Andy Brickley. Edwards gives credit to opponents when it is due (except Montreal), Brickley tries to justify cheap shots by Boston and whines about referees all the time.

Tough game. Bs will not go down easy. I dont care if they are losing every game. They are underperforming. They are in a must win game.

Lundqvist hasnt played in two months. Need to get him as many starts as possible. Id start him 8 of the final 9, give him this back to back. After 2 months, he is going to need as much time as possible to find his game.
