I always scratch my head at Babs. Kindl goes in scores a goal and is a healthy scratch next game. He looks a lot better than Ericsson at this point. Kronwall and Kindl we should go with. I know Kindl is the same on D as Ericsson but he brings more offense to the table than Ericsson does. Good to see Kronner's back and Franzen is skating again.

It's also pretty alarming how bad Howard's been post injury vs. pre injury. The numbers don't lie.

Howard, since returning from a four-week absence due to a groin injury, is 6-5-3, with a 3.00 goals-against average and .898 save percentage. Before the injury suffered on Jan. 10 he was 15-7-7, with a 2.11 GAA and .920 save percentage, which earned him a selection for the All-Star Game.

Literally nothing points towards Howard having a good game tonight. Gets smacked up by the Coyotes, doesn't have a good history against San Jose (4-6-4/granted his last win was very recent), doesn't even have a 90% SV percentage since coming back...

In terms of consistency, Howard has been pretty good since returning from injury -- he's been consistently below .915 sv%

I'm still a big supporter of his notwithstanding his recent slump. And in his defence, the whole tam hasn't been playing well in front of him. I'm expecting a big game from him tonight
