[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

We knew we were going to come out to a desperate team tonight, they’re fighting for their playoff lives over there.
We jumped on them quick but I think after that they kind of turned the table on us.
- Cam Talbot

Tonight we had a good start, though, get a goal and feeling good. They kind of just turned the tide quick. I’m not sure exactly when they did.
They were hard on the forecheck. We can’t get that second pass to get it out of our zone and they created turnovers and chances against us and that’s more end zone time.
- Dan Girardi

Everybody knew what we were up against and it was going to take a real strong effort and our A game and we didn’t have that tonight.
I can’t explain why. We’ll just move on to the next game.
- Alain Vigneault

I hope he doesn't have the same attitude with the players. They better have watched that tape 100 times!

Going to this one. Right behind the Rangers bench. Let's give Hamburgler his first regulation loss! LGR

I hope they come to play.....I also hope somebody can start the hit parade and get some emotion flowing . Zucc can start the hitting...he is the bravest forward we have ....any chance we can switch his heart into Kreider's frame ? That would be some protptype . :) I say we bounce back....6-2 win . We have to match their physical effort for at least the first period .

RIP Rongos if they even think about giving the same effort they gave against the Kings.

Sens are a speed team though. The Rangers are much more suited to play against that type of team.

I look for a better performance from the Rangers but I expect the Rangers to be short.

Rangers overall not scoring enough playing a super hot team

Thus 4-2 final in favor of Ottawa.

I saw Zibanejad leave the ice the other night after taking a puck to the wrist area, thought he may be out a bit. Guess it was not serious. Not that I wanted him to be injured, but he's been pretty good for the Senators.

If our one game losing streak doubles tomorrow, there will be a mass suicide on HF boards, so for the sake of saving lives, the Rangers must win.

How hard could it be for us to score a touchdown again? The Giants do it all the time and they suck. I'll take a pair of field goals as a consolation prize.

This team always gives the Rangers trouble for some reason. Rangers better bring their A game tonight and show Ottawa what their fate would be in a playoff series - don't want them building confidence.
