Outside of Kadri, I can't think of anyone I would take.

Boyes for the 4th line maybe? P.A. might actually be able to score on the Leafs current 3rd.

Just an awful roster

Best part of those days was TDD and acquiring magic beans for not so magic players.

To be fair, JVR and Bozak were injured.
Willie was dealing with concussion from WJC.
If Willie was playing, pretty sure Brown would have been called up too.
I can't remember if they were either injured or sent back to the Marlies, because at one point in the 2015-16 season Hyman and Brown were playing some games for the Leafs, like this game against Anaheim which they won in overtime.

However, in their 82nd and final game of the 2015-16 season, they did not play against New Jersey.

Hyman and Brown got a taste of the NHL along with other Marlies.
Only Willie managed to stayed with the team to get more exp, which I still don't understand why since it burned one year of his ELC.

If Nylander didn't start playing until the 2016-17 season, that meant his ELC would have been finished the same time along with Matthews and Marner.

Give me a prime Uncle Leo for the third line
He'd probably be decent even on our second line.

He had 283 hits that year, which is over 40% of the total of all our forwards this year, and about double what ZAR will finish the year with.

But yeah, that particular lineup is likely the worst we iced that whole tank year.

Yep and I don't see anything wrong with that. Might had save his holdout season where he was behind plays.

Didn't we have JVR and Bozak too? Lupul as well, but we all know they forced him to not play lol.

Tbh, for how bad this team was on paper they were at least enjoyable to watch during a year we knew we were tanking for Matthews. I see some of these teams tanking these days and feel bad for the fans of those teams because they look like they aren't even trying or into the game at all while this club at least looked like they wanted to win but just weren't good enough to do it.
