This road trip to the awesome Cali teams couldn't have come at a much worse time for the team. I predicted 3 wins and one OT loss in October...and boy that's not gonna happen. It's pretty telling when you are betting low and you still overestimate.

Nonsense, perfect time for the tank! Dig that hole nice and deep early so it's impossible to climb out of later on!

5-1 Ducks.

Yay, a game. :)

Sadly all that excitement will probably be gone when the game starts. :D

Myers, realizing this is his best chance to play for an NHL team, scores 5 goals to impress the Ducks.

I might watch the 1st period of this one. That should be enough.

Is it bad that I'll probably pay more attention to the Amerks and McDavid-in-Buffalo games than I will to this one?

Will fix everything
Going to go out on the limb here:

Strong showing in a shootout loss

New confidence leads to us getting blown out in LA/SJ/Toronto.

1 step forward, 3 steps back

Anaheim is actually going to ice 4 forwards and 2 defenseman in lieu of a goaltender tonight. Boudreau knows the Sabres can't score, so might as well.

You know they'd blow past Mesz and Weber and get that 6-0 break away too.

Nah. I won't be paying much attention either. Will be at the Erie vs. Niagara game. I'll say 6-2 Ducks.
