Probably the toughest 10 game segment since the first 10 game segment (though at the time, we likely didn't suspect Vancouver, NYR, Winnipeg and Dallas would be flirting with top 5 records 7all season).

While it's not necessarily the toughest strictly on standings points by the opponents, it does have 2 vs. Boston. St. Louis and Minnesota always cause problems for Edmonton. Calgary hates losing to Edmonton and with Edmonton on a bit of a streak against them, I can see them being focussed on getting the win. LA spends their entire existence thinking about beating Edmonton after the last two playoffs. Even the bad team like Buffalo and Columbus seem to play well against Edmonton in recent years.

I see a modest 12-13 points, unless they can somehow keep some of the home ice mojo going and somehow take seven points out of the five games to start it.

The Columbus game is in Columbus where Edmonton has dropped two straight. Should be able to win it, but but that could be a let down game after playing the Bruins the previous game.

Last few games have cause me to sweat a little more and I think we need to add a player like Tanev badly right now. We need Holland to pull another Ekholm trade out of his hat. We have this and next to win before the first big contract is up and I say we go all in and get what we need to win. We might be a one and done cup team--but the clock is ticking and the ticking is getting louder. The good news is our core is signed through next season. We need to get few key pieces. A guy like Tanev and a legit back up to Skinner would be a good starting point
