They were hard to play against, Vegas got a 4-1 lead, partially due to stupid penalties, and the Flyers came storming back. Last year they would have rolled over and lost 6-1.

I wanted Sandstrom to go on a hot streak after his good game, and maybe build some trade value. This game won't help, though a couple goals were unstoppable, a couple weren't.

Lemieux had a really good game for a "plug," whereas Bellows is making a case for a future as an AHL second liner. Lemieux can skate and made a couple nice offensive plays.

Foerster looked solid, he make a push to start next year, but he's not going to sit Allison when he returns. And they will want to take a long look at Lemieux. Phantoms are hot, he'll get plenty of work there.

Farabee and Tippett are getting a lot of "almost" goals, shots off goalie shoulders, shots that trickle and hit a goal post, . . .

Seeler is making a push for the top 4, watch out Sanheim!
This is why people on here just don't value your opinion . Lemieux is on his best behavior right now . Every team he has played for he has played his way off of and is just a throw in on a trade to get rid of . He is not and I repeat "NOT" a player that you resign under any circumstance .

Imagine a world where being "hard to play against" is the goal, instead of just being a good hockey team.
People have been brainwashed by the hockey world to think that the most important thing in the world is effort and toughness.

If a team is bad, they’re simply not trying hard enough or tough enough. So the entire goal is to fix those two things over anything else.

You play 14-15 forward a season, what year have we not had 1-2 go down long-term and 2-3 go down for weeks or months?
If the Flyers lack talent, they need to find cheap depth anywhere they can find it.
Lemieux is an upgrade over Brown and MacEwen, if he keeps his nose clean, how is he worse than NAK in that regard?

"He's been suspended twice – once in 2018 for an illegal check to the head of Vincent Trocheck, and again in 2020 for a late hit on Joonas Donskoi. He's also been fined $2,000 for elbowing"

So he's got a Hannibel Lector thang going:

But it was Brady Tkachuk, so Cap'n forgives him.

Aube-Kubel plays, he has had “bad penalty” issues throughout his career. He was suspended three times for hits to the head in the AHL. That included a three-game suspension in the 2018 Calder Cup Playoffs.

Aube-Kubel was fined for a knee-on-knee hit on the Florida Panther’s Mason Marchment and once for high-sticking Buffalo Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin.

You don't need to defend everything the team does. This favor Fletcher did a GM instead of getting more value for taking their dump does not need to be defended and justified.

You are intentionally ignoring the blue-collar, hard-working reputation for Philadelphia that MUST be reflected in their sports teams. How can the 9-to-5 fans relate to their hockey idols otherwise, while they sit in their overpriced seats after parking in overpriced lots and while eating overpriced in-arena food and drinking overpriced beer?

Imagine if fans found out that the athletes don’t leave the games and go work their shift at the local hardware store!

Right on, Bern. Always found it strange to keep that image up, when many of those people likely can’t or shouldn’t spend the kind of bread on a night at the game for a family. Dollar dogs, my ass. I will stop with the class war stuff now.

So I just want to clarify the bolded here (not that you insinuated otherwise, but feel the need to pre-defend my brethren ) -- these prices are not a reflection of the concession company themselves. This is the price the organization sets due to a desired profit margin. I just want to make sure we're blaming the right people for the price gouging.
