[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

Every game, every shift I have been feeling more comfortable. I am starting to get to know the guys out there whether its D-men or my linemates and tendencies.
I thought we as a line were skating really well. We were on the fore check, turning pucks over and it created some offensive chances.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t get the first goal on a win, but I will take it and we’ll try to rebound there in Buffalo.
- Eric Staal

Tough one, but this is hockey. That’s why we play this game.
Sometimes you’re the hero and sometimes you’re not.
- Antti Raanta

You could tell they were trying, but they didn’t seem to have much in the tank and didn’t generate a lot, other than Staal’s line.
The other lines didn’t do much. We lost the draw at the end there.
Eric had been real good, but he had been out on the ice for that long shift.
- Alain Vigneault

Ewww no thanks. That line was ****. Don't ever break up Brass with Zucc especially since we don't have nash back.

Miller has been invisible since Zuccarello is back on that line. Maybe they should look at that. When Miller and Brassard were playing with Fast, that line was on fire, with all 3 close to being a PPG. Now Zucc is on that line and it influences the play by Miller. He has to focus more on defense and when Fast is on that line, he doesn't have to worry about it as much, leaving more time and space to do what he does best: Create havoc in the O-zone

Or ya know. Miller looks invisible because he's cooling down.

Yeah, honestly Brass and Zucc haven't looked good together for quite some time.

Keep them split, try and have 3 scoring lines:

Kreider-Stepan-Zuccarello
Miller-Brassard-Fast
Hayes-Staal-Stalberg
Glass-Moore-Lindberg

When Nash is back (hopefully Saturday)

Miller-Brassard-Nash
Kreider-Stepan-Zuccarello
Hayes-Staal-Stalberg
Lindberg-Moore-Fast

Something like that.

There are no easy teams/wins in the NHL. Those believing this is an automatic win are extremely shortsighted.

Just saw on NHL Network that E. Staal isn't playing. Is that right or you guys think it's a typo for M. Staal?
