I think you can go ahead and pencil in Gudas-Manning on the third pair. They look like they might be developing some chemistry back there. ManDog needs to eliminate the one or two major blunders per game and he will be fine.

I actually find myself not hating Manning as much. He still makes some mistakes and provides zero offense, but he does understand the plan.

MacDonald is the only one who does not follow the neutral zone strategy, the dude backs in way too much.

They now have a perfect opportunity to take control of their own destiny and win this game.

Red Wings and Pens both lost yesterday, this is our opportunity to level the playing field!

It's going to be tough beating TBL twice, but the Flyers should have all the motivation in the world to play their hardest

They need to stand behind AMac at practice with a cattle prod and zap his butt until he stops backing in.

So be it, they've done enough and from here on out it is pure pleasure for me. Screw tanking, I'll accept our fate.

At this point all our D prospects have me much less worried about where we draft next year. I feel it's much more important to build a winning culture, with a new coach and new faces. Makes ya feel warm and fuzzy inside, ya know?

For streaming purposes, Yahoo and the NHL announced a deal where Yahoo will live stream 4 games per week. This game will be the first one. Local restrictions still apply.

I've seen Manning (boxcar65) and one other person here and maybe one or two in the last GDT compliment Manning recently. Am I the only one who saw him give up two (2!) odd man rushes in one shift the last game?

Regardless, the forward lineup is nasty. Konecny will be here next year, no doubt.

Wolf, he is still going to make some mistakes(just like ALL of our D), but his play has improved somewhat during the past few games he has played. Tonight will be a good test in Tampa.

Just give it a rest. The guy stinks. If he is resigned this summer then it will be hextalls worst move as gm

Manning is cheap and serviceable enough to be our #7, but not good enough to be a permanent #6.

Giroux, Schenn, Simmonds, Couts, Gudas and Gosth are in playoff mode and the bottom 6 are playing well. If we can have good goaltending till the end of the season I dont see Pittsburgh winning against us (thats 6 points) and split against Detroit (thats 2 points). Best case scenario: we eliminate the pens with the last two afternoon game in april.

Now for Tampa...If they can pull it off tonight, It will prove Hakstol have the team under control and they care about winning. They need 120% effort for 60 minutes to do that.
