Tim Kerr (3-1-4) and Dave Poulin (3-0-3) each recorded hat tricks and Ilkka Sinisalo (2-1-3) added consecutive goals to start the third period in the Flyers' 9-6 home victory. The Flyers' first eight goals came off the sticks of three players. This was the first of a key home-and-home series sweep which tied the Flyers with the Capitals on top the Patrick Division. Washington had an 11-point lead earlier in the season.

I will be in MA for a wedding on Saturday. That means the hotel should be carrying this game. Very stoked all around: great date, great guy getting married, and Flyers hockey!!

Awesome! Another NHLN game!!!!!! Great thing I pay 160$ a year for Game Center, a NHL product, but the NHLN games are blacked out! Perfect! I love the system in place.

NHL Gamecenter works well, but seriously, their blackouts are ****ing stupid. I am curious, if you're paying for GCL, why won't they let you have access to the NHL Network? Because they want it tied to the cable companies still? Honestly, sports are probably the reason for me to keep my TV. If they could all offer legit alternatives (I know there is Hockeystreams) to all their sports to watch all their games (pay for seasons), then I ****ing would. I'm sure cable would be completely dropped.

My only question with HockeyStreams (I may switch next year) is whether or not they're compatible with anything like AppleTV, XBox Live, LG Smart TV, etc. The great thing about GameCenter is I can just stream it onto the TV from there rather than having to hook up my computer.

I know Roku has Hockeystreams as one of their apps.

It does? I'll have to look it up...

Again...how much and can I see Flyers games if I subscribe to it? Also, how is the quality? I know this was all discussed in a previous thread but don't want to go fishing for it all. I just want to cut my cable as much as possible and just have broadband. HBO will have a separate streaming service this year (not through the cable provider) so with hockey and HBO ... I don't care about much else. Sling TV is also on Roku and offers ESPN, TBS and some other stations for 20 bucks a month.

Hockeystreams can run on the following devices according to themselves:
Roku
Chromecast
Boxee
XBMC
Apple TV with XBMC
Apple TV via AirPlay
Plex
Serviio
iPhone, iPod, iPad
Android
Playstation 3
Playstation 4
XBOX 360
XBOX ONE
Samsung Smart TV

I run it on my computer so I don't know about the quality of these services.

It does? I'll have to look it up...

Prices
1 Day - $7.49
1 Week - $12.99
1 Month - $17.99
3 Months - $47.99
6 Months - $69.99
1 Year - $109.99

Subscriptions can be paused i.e. you can buy a 1 year subscription and then pause it in the offseason. There are no blackouts and quality is good on most nights (or maybe that's just my wireless sucking). AHL and junior hockey is standard definition and can be grainy but all NHL games are HD.

This game will certainly have a playoff type feel to it which should be exciting . White just might come up BIG in this one ! Looking forward to it .

Search NHL VLC Streams on reddit.

Pain to set up but once you have it down it's glorious.
