[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

We got that early goal and then had 19 minutes to battle, and everyone did.
They had a couple good chances there, but our guys were blocking so many shots. I felt comfortable and that last minute or so went by really quickly.
- Antti Raanta

We're just happy that we were obviously resilient.
It was a good sign for us responding under tough conditions and proving that we can come out on top.
- Ryan McDonagh

He's supposed to be one of our go-to guys and he's played in important games and he knows that he's got to step it up.
The teams that win are getting good goaltending and obviously solid play from their top players and Stepan is one of ours.
- Alain Vigneault

I want blood. I want to taste their tears. My most hated sports team ever.

I must admit I have a soft spot somewhere in the depths of my heart for the Isles of the last 10 years or so. The little hipster team that could.

Flyers and Caps, though? DEAD to me.

Agree on much rather playing Pens than Isles.

However if we do get the Isles then I'm hoping Pens don't make playoffs.

Why? You think Philly or NJ has any chance at beating Washington? I think Pittsburgh has a non-zero chance to beat them, and that would be if Crosby and Malkin play like the two best players in the NHL and Fleury matches Holtby, things that I think are actually possible. I see no way that either Philly or NJ could beat Washington, especially now for NJ with Schneider injured.

I give NJ and Pitt equal chance to beat Washington because of their goalies. Philly I'm not giving any chance.

In a perfect world only Rangers/Isles and Caps make playoffs out of Metro. 5 from Atlantic.

I'm going to be so pissed if we don't match their intensity levels right from the opening faceoff. We already know the Isles will be busting their ***** on every single shift.

Glass or McIlrath better do something about Martin, Clutterbuck, and Cizikias.

Them and the Oilers man.

Loud, contrasting colors? Check.
Popular during the 80's? Check.

I mean the Brooklyn part goes without saying.

Not trying to be rude, but I am having some trouble with the name Clutterbuck. Just seems like the name of a caramel fudge candy. A clumsy caramel fudge candy.

(Hope this isn't someones last name here on the forum. If so: Sorry.)

Hard for dylan to do anything from the press box

Matt Martin is going to be running around--so yeah I would play McIlrath. I'm expecting that Boyle will play instead.
