Why ? Its just Kari who is playing well and he played much better than Niemi the whole year .

I would hope its pretty clear for management Niemi has to be bought out and Kari can be kept as a 1a/1b or backup for the new and hopefully younger guy .

i would hope so too but i have zero trust in Nills ability to judge the goaltending situation. He took it from bad to worse and has spoken as if its a strength.
