Unfortuantely, their franchise IS relevant...in that they've trashed and wasted more top-flight talent than any other team. Imagine how good these players could've been in a real franchise.

The Oilers are not relevant. They're a spectacle for how poorly they've been managed for 5+ years, despite how many gifts they've received, but no one outside of Alberta gives a **** about. Their season was over the day the regular season started. How is that possible for a franchise that has selected number one overall 3 times in the last 5 years?
