Need to come out of this break better than the flat performance against Montreal after the last break.

I know teams coming out of the break tend to play pretty badly their 1st game back. It's kind of a must win game to keep pace. You can't drop a game against the Avs.

If we blow this, we're done. Hopefully Murray would start trading players. That said, I still want a win. If we have a 5% chance of playoffs, hard to root against it.

I'm cheering for wins but I'm okay if Kulikov and Franson are traded both before game -- it won't happen. I'm expecting Murray to trade those guys at very end as he holds out hope we can win three straight.

We've been given the gift of garbalanche coming out of the gate.

Trends aside, we should win.

Eichel 1g in his last 12 games, I'm thinking a pair for him. Last year, he played well out of the break.

Zads is out for the year, no reason we should lose. They are the worst team in the league, we just had a nice long break and RoR and Risto should both be refreshed and energized. I'm hoping Kane and Eichel continue their hot streak.

Looking forward to the board if we do what every team has done coming out of their break.
