After a grueling 6 hours I finally finished my Skyrim se mod load order. Now to play for an hour and forget about it for another year.
I did this for fallout 4 on PS4. It was an exercise in futility that I finally managed to get sorted, only to have forgotten how long it takes to actually get to play.
I haven't touched it since.

I don't know what you're objecting to. I'm just stating facts lol.
The last thing this board needs is any type of political discussion. This place is unbearable enough when we're taking about f***ing sports.

So I'm objecting to the entire topic itself, not either side of it.

The only reason I even mentioned it is because I hate when any entertainment has a blatent agenda. Doesn't matter if it's one I agree with, disagree with, or know nothing about. I can still enjoy the entertainment, most of the time, but it just bothers me that everyone has to try to ram their views down other peoples throats. Especially people with a large platform, like producers/writers of a TV show.

Most shows do have an agenda/viewpoint they are trying to convey, but some are more subtle than others. Mr. Robot is not subtle but it can't be because then the show wouldn't exist lol

COD Ranked play dropped today...and they won't let you play with your own teams for now which is f***ing stupid

I've played 7 ranked matches, I am 2-5, and in 4 of the 5 losses people left the match leaving us at a disadvantage

There are two problems with writers writing about business:
1) most were English or soc majors and know nothing of economic and business history (neither do most business majors for that matter, which is why they skew in the opposite direction)
2) they work in one of the most sleazy, exploitive businesses around

Journalists tend to be better, though many still have the liberal arts prejudice, and they too rarely have a strong understanding of the subject matter, Michael Lewis being an exception.

A lot of historians have the same issues, but some like Ron Chernow can write about finance and business without resorting to either quasi-Marxist BS or hagiography.

Of course, one problem is real business, like real law, is basically boring. So writers spice it up. I mean law firms have some attractive people (they do take looks into account when hiring to some extent) but everyone is working too hard to be screwing around all the time, and cases rarely go to trial, while depositions are not dramatic. Most corporate executives are not running around making deals, the heart of a deal are the spreadsheets and due diligence, and that's diffiult to dramatize. Leverage ain't very sexy.

The real problem isn't so much that corporations are evil, but that many corporate managers are stupid in the sense that pressured to cut costs, they're "pennywise but pound foolish" - Deepwater Horizon catches that attitude.

Yeah, which is why I don't have a real problem with it.

Like I said, I do like the show.
I especially loved when they revealed he had been in prison the whole time and what we saw was just how he mentally coped with it. Incredibly well done. Honestly one of my favorite parts of any TV show I've ever seen.

They want to be able to have an individual rank for people to more accurately place them once the normal seasons start.

If you played all your placement games with an organized team it'd make it harder for the game to decide where you belong. It wouldn't be able to tell what was your individual skill and what was due to your team.

Dude. That was one of the best plot twists ever to me. Sam Esmail is a genius.

Also..get on Season 3..its only getting better while at the same time moving away from the "good vs. evil" plot. Its much more layered than that.

Also, I think I'm one of those rare people that, while every associates Mark Hamill with Luke Skywalker or the Joker, for my childhood, I remember him more as Christopher Blair for the Wing Commander series. Sorry, thought came up and wanted to share .

I still have The Kilrathi Saga box set packed away somewhere. I've recently bemoaned no Wing Commander games in ages that I know of. I went to a sneak preview of the movie and has a long sleeve t shirt from it. That freaking movie, what the hell were they thinking?

I also loved Mark as The Watcher from Darksiders andI'm so glad they're making a third one. I want more games like that and less damn generic shooters and open world drudgery.

I have all 5 Wing Commander games lying around somewhere. I know the first two would run on Win 3.1. Wing Commander and other flight sims are also the reason why I have inverted camera controls for the Y axis when it comes to console games.

Never watched Daredevil but I did enjoy Punisher. Generally, I like Punisher anything (didn't see the Dolph one). I didn't even hate Warzone that much.

The Dolph one is pretty cheesy. It takes the basic plot of the Punisher but outside of that it doesn’t even really feel like a movie based on the Punisher. He doesn’t even have the skull painted on his chest.

I think it’s on YouTube, that’s where I watched it before just to see what it was like.

In the last thread during the Stranger Things discussion, I mentioned how I hated that toothless kid from the show. And this is what I get several weeks later...

Already watched 7 episodes of season 3.

Actually, I might need to watch them again because I'm a bit fuzzy on remembering them. I watched them when all drugged up on allergy medicine. Benadryl puts me in a coma.

I remember the basics of what happened, but not everything. That's also why I prefer binge watching shows instead of as it comes out. Easier that way instead of trying to remember week to week.

He's the best character/actor on the show, how in the world could you hate him?

From the first minute I saw him in the very first episode, I just felt he had something very annoying in him. I hear he is quite liked, I just dont know what it is
