Ryder is a good one to look back on. Definitely left a lot to be desired but also was expected to be more than he was - the Cup win and his glove save turned it around for him I think.

He floated worse than Krejci . I loved him but he was infuriating at times

The 2011 playoffs versus Montreal was the best hockey he played in Boston.

That save was incredible.

Frustrating regular season player, never earned the contract he got

BUT

Always turned it on in the playoffs for us. That third line kept us alive in the first round in 2011. We don't win without him.
