We are only looking at their NHL careers, of course. Who would you pick BPA (Best Player Available) ???

Don't pick based on your team needs, etc. Pick on who is better at hockey and what they have done at the NHL level. But for some guys (like Kaprizov, Garland, Terry, etc), what you project them to do.

Please make your suggestions or let me know if there's a mistake or an omission

Versteeg had a pretty decent career, with a career high of 23 goals and 54 pts during his 25 y/o season. Overall, 0.23 GPG and 0.56 PPG in 643 GP

BUT before Versteeg, several guys have an argument :

Troy Terry has 25 goals in 42 games this season and doesn't look like a flash in the pan at all. He is 24 y/o and should have a much better resume by the time he's 30 y/o. So far, 0.23 GPG and 0.52 PPG in 171 GP and these numbers didn't have much time to improve after his recent breakout

Conor Garland is also trending well, 25 y/o 0.28 GPG and 0.59 PPG in 203 GP

Let's not forget Zach Hyman too, 29 y/o with 0.26 GPG and 0.55 PPG in 379 GP

And what case Versteeg has on Lee Stempniak? 0.22 GPG and 0.51 PPG but in 911 GP

Andrew Shaw has a case too, Liles too, etc

I have really high hopes for Forsling. Gonna take him here since I believe in his potential.

Yeah, I'm really not understanding the Versteeg love here. HF polls are weird some times :dunno:

I don't know

Versteeg has scored 149 goals, Terry has 40

He could have more career goals before he turns 28 (that's if he settles at "only" 30 goals per season. At his current pace, it'd be before he turns 27) so as long as he stays healthy... Terry will do much more
