[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

That blind side hit directly to the head is one we want to get out of the game.
I don’t know what needs to be done to get some respect among players and obviously when things like that do happen you need to be held accountable.
Hopefully we can keep working to get that type of hit out of the game.
- Marc Staal

I still knew there was lots of game left. If we need to go do overtime, we need to go do the overtime and get the two points from there.
We got the takeaway and got the goal, there was a minute 30 left. I was still hoping let’s keep it this way.
When we scored the empty net, it was a pretty awesome feeling. It felt pretty good.
- Antti Raanta

I think it’s safe to say our expectations of that line is a little bit higher than what we’re getting at this time.
The only player really that I want to say we’re satisfied with what he’s bringing is Tanner.
I know what he’s going to bring, that physicality to the game.
- Alain Vigneault

We should know who is called up soon, I would think. Would like to see Jensen get a shot up here. He's been doing solid in Hartford. But I wouldn't complain if Hrivik/Bourque got called up.

Why did Av break up the Kreider-Stepan-Zooks line?

Stepan and Kreider started to find their games with Zooks.

Brass and JT did okay with Fast on their line.

I think things are better balanced with Zooks playing with Stepan. Stepan obviously enjoys having Zooks on his line.

Agree with everything but Zucc+Brass is just so enjoyable to watch.

What?
Stepan has literally been standing still while zucc sets him up with a wide open net.

He's still done jack **** on his own on the ice besides dumping the puck in.

Doesn't he have 3-4 goals in the last 4 games aren't two of them game winners?? Stepan has been playing much better lately

The only goal worth mentioning is the one against the kings, every other one he has gotten setup with a gaping net that you'd have to be patrick stefan to miss.

That's not even mentioning constnatly fumbling the puck, playing like garbage on defense (see the game vs the hawks in the 3rd period) and so on.

Larkin is confirmed in tonight? Didn't he miss yesterday's game vs. the Sens with the flu or something? Part of me is excited to see him play, the rest of me doesn't want him to do anything notable against us.

Detroit's on a 3-game skid, let's make it 4. LGR! :yo:

I've seen enough wide-open net, gifted goals missed by this team to appreciate that Stepan didn't miss when he had the chances. 7 points in 9 games in Feb, 2 GWG. Looks like a nice month for him.
