A regulation loss puts us right back in 9th place. A regulation win would be so much better. Puts us 2 points behind LA with a game in hand.

Barring a complete collapse by the Ducks or Sharks (or a perfect March for us) I see the 6th seed as being our realistically highest seed.

Just fyi, they're going to be turning that entire thing under the Hunt Bridge into a huge river walk basically with piers and hiking spots and all that fun stuff. Definitely looks pointless atm though.

How's the rest of the Trinity River project coming along? Will Michael Vick be invited to the Riverwalk Ribbon Cutting Ceremony too? Have they figured out where that smell is coming from? Tell Dwaine Carroway the Coyotes said hi!

Yeah, that's the important point.

I don't think anyone here's delusional enough to think that we have a significant chance at the cup this year (without massive, multiplayer upgrades at forwards). But making a round or two of playoff will go a long way to mend the franchise's fiscal situation and long term viability in terms of the fan-base.

100% agree. The game experience is far better when your not dealing with a wanna-b local fan that thinks their team is the best ever.

I doubt we get the Hawks or Blues in first round. We could if Minni falls out and only Hawks, Blues, Avalanche are left, the 5th place pacific team swaps division for playoffs. Doubt it happens though...Hope we win tonight!
