I really hope they play smart and come to win. Let Glass and the Rangers be stupid and take penalties...no need to act tough and hurt your chances to win.

White needs to earn his pay check and fight Glass right off the bat. We lose with a Glass Simmer trade off.

That's like a Manning Stepan trade off.

I don't see Simmer backing down from Glass or anyone else, which I respect, I feel like the Rags are going to start looking like the Penguins do when the loose their **** when they play the Flyers, either way I'll play the negative card here and say the Rags win

I'd be shocked if Simmonds entertains a staged fight with Glass. It's a lose/lose situation.

It seems like every time there's a big build up for extra curricular activities in a game nothing ends up happening. The league/refs are on notice & there's typically too much at stake to potentially hurt yourself in terms of the actual outcome for the game.

True but this has a player awash saying he will go for Simmonds. Flyers are in their head and can take advantage. As bad as the last loss was we got a point. A win here has us 2-0-1 the last three games and you have to like that.

Didn't get to see the game yesterday, but according to the usual Manning bashers he had a rough game. If that's the case, it was his first bad one in quite a while. Hopefully, he will bounce back today and play a physical contest against the Rags. Mr. Softie was called up, so we will see how he does.

With del zotto out we have no one but gudas to take a man off the puck. Gonna get ugly from here so hopefully we can trade some garbage and win the lottery pick. ****in had with missing the playoffs though. This isn't Edmonton hexy so get on it from here on out.

Ranger fans talk about Glass like he is Steve McIntyre ?? The scrub is a middle weight at best, let White or The Dog fight him, heck I think PEB could give him a good fight. He is out of the league as soon as his horrible contract is up, he is actually worse than White.

exactly, if Glass actually gets Simmonds as a partner, he's going to get destroyed. Simmonds has him on length and strength.

My goodness there are some bitter Rags fans over in their GDT!!!
I guess they all missed the part where McDonagh cross checked Simmer in the head, which lead to a pissed off #17, but now they want G and Ghost to pay for McDonagh being out
I get its a rivalry game and they don't have their captain who is a giant part of their D-core but to act as though he did nothing at all to warrant any type of retaliation from Simmer is just plain stupidity, which I guess runs high over there because they actually believe Glass would "beat-up" Simmonds in a fight

If for some scummy reason they hit G or Ghost, the game will get out of control one thing this years team has shown is they all take up for each other, but I have a strange feeling the Rags might be investing way too much into the emotional side of this game

Possible powder keg match. Fun.

Ranger fans seem to be calling for Glass running Ghost or G because he'll probably lose to Simmonds with fists.

Mr. Glass, Mr. Subban would like you do know that you cannot fight Wayne Simmonds.

McGoon could.

If the Rangers are actually going to step into this game with a vendetta against Simmer then I feel pretty good about our chances. Hell, if we had Coots I'd have no doubts that we'd come away with a win here, even if it was close.

Manning vs Glass is a real possibility. Hopefully ManDog can build on his impressive scrap against Maroon and take out Glassjaw.

The irony is I don't hear anyone talking about the slewfoot on Laughton, which is very dangerous:

https://streamable.com/p6vm

Caused a very level headed Matt Read to fight someone he was overmatched against.

There should be more rage about the slewfoot. He landed on his caboose, but it can make you drop on your back and snap your head. Laughton obviously cross-checked him so he's partially to blame.

Plot twist:

Morin and Ghoul get called up. Rangers are scared to step on the ice and Glass crys in the locker room.

Ironic if Glass is scratched and it turns out to be a fairly non-physical contest. The hype tends to be bigger than reality in many cases.

Simmonds should get his fight in early because we all know it is going to happen. Macdonald will be interesting to watch with ghost as well. Maybe he will look good and his value goes up past negative :sarcasm:

I'd rather that White just goes after Glass the first opportunity that he gets.

Simmonds fighting trash and taking a 5 minute break is good for the Rags.
