[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

I think it plays to my strengths to move it out of the zone quickly and make a good first pass.
So the quicker I do that, the quicker I get back to it.
- Adam Clendening

I just think the ice is opening up for us right now. I think we’re doing a lot of good things as a line.
We just bring a different element. Grabs has the speed to get behind people.
- J.T. Miller

I think Kevin and J.T. can make plays with the puck, and Grabs with his speed allows them to get a little more open space.
They’re playing extremely well right now.
- Alain Vigneault

I say it a lot half-heartedly but I totally mean it here.

I'm not sure the Avalanche are an NHL team.

This should be an easy win. The Avalanche are a distant 2nd worst team in the league over the past 10 or so years.

It's amazing that we are 4th in Division. 4th in Conference and 5th in the league. The Metro is insane

Which is why, they should keep the spot they have and cross into the Atlantic which has been underwhelming this season. Think they will have a better path to the ECF going that route.

Colorado beat Montreal 4-0 last week. Anything can happen though.

The game in Denver was a struggle for us until we got the lead. They fell apart and stopped trying after that.

They tend to do that.

Horrible possession, horrible shooting talent, horrible defensive structure, they do absolutely nothing well and are some of the most mentally fragile athletes I've ever witnessed personally. Pepper them early (asking a lot, I know) and they will die in the water.

It was 80ºF here in Denver yesterday. A buddy (Avalanche fan) is coming over to watch the game tonight. I am so fired up. I love it!

They have no depth. Three top 3 picks and two good defensemen. That is their team. We may not have elite talent but I take what we have all day. I am fairly sure that it would take them 7 games to beat the top AHL team in a best of 7 series, if they won at all.

As big a mismatch heading in as the Vancouver game on Election night.

For some reason, I don't remember much about that game and it wasn't the worst part of my night.
