Gotcha. We actually decided to pass on the dining experience figuring most of the complimentary restaurants are enough. Norwegian has a promotion going right now so we were able to get our beverage package included. Awesome to hear that it will be worth it.

You went 5 days to the Bahamas? Did you leave out of Florida?

So yes definitely the complimentary stuff will be more than enough. For that one we left out of Baltimore. We docked in Cape Canaveral the first night were there for half a day. Then left for the Bahamas from there. Royal Caribbean has its own island there so we were there by the next morning. Left that island that night. One more day on grand Bahamas isle. Then back on the ship and a day later back in Baltimore.

Yup...normal dining. We didn't go to the speciality restaurants either(pay extra $ for similar food). Every night at the normal dining it was a different menu anyways and always great food...even lobster and steak one night.

We had our own table for 2 so never had to worry about eating with people we didn't know. And it was nice to get dressed up every night too...doesn't happen in the real world. Only 2 of the 6 nights did I wear a suit. Other nights it was a dress shirt or golf shirt.

Often, we would go check out the buffet just to see what they had and it all looked good. But why do the buffet when you can have a 3 course meal especially made for you.

As for the drinks, we didn't get it as we only had 1 day at sea so the rest of the time, were in excursions exploring the different islands.

We got into a little routine.

Got up
Got showered and ready for the day
Went and had a big breakfast
Went in excursion from like 9-3 most days
Got back, grabbed a shower and got ready for supper
Supper from 6:30-7:30ish
Went and watched the evening entertainment from 8-9
Then walked the ship the rest of the night, watching kareoke, exploring other bars, going to casino, shopping, etc..

By the end of the day, was exhausted. Slept very well. We are not partiers anymore...lol.

Hell yeah. Any time you can get out of class it's a good day. Being free when you're supposed to be doing something boring always just feels better.

Best time I ever had class canceled was when my professor was just up there talking and all of a sudden rips ass...

Everyone was stunned and looking at each other to see if they had imagined it or something.

He turns around from writing on the board and just sighs and says "yeah, that's just going to keep happening, you guys can go now". Nobody moved since we thought he was kidding, but he said he was serious and he just walked out of the room so we bolted. Got out of a 3 hour class about 2 hours early. Almost laughed myself into a car accident driving home.

I get bored at times and just do betting sequences of $1, $1, $3. Depending on if I win a hand or not. It's basically like mining money.

I went to AC this past weekend, and like every time I go I get down a lot of money but they don't clean me out and by the end of the night I'm up at least a couple hundred.

The key is to not try and win in a hurry. If you play for the long haul I find that I normally win but when I'm only there for a short period I always lose.

RITTENHOUSE SQUARE (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are searching for a knife-wielding suspect after a man was stabbed to death in an apparently random attack early Sunday on Rittenhouse Square.

It happened at 3 a.m. Sunday in front of 1820 Rittenhouse Square.

Police say a group of friends were out on the town for an early Patrick's Day celebration when they were approached by a man wearing a New Jersey Devils cap.

The man, who witnesses said appeared "deranged," asked the victim if he was a Philadelphia Flyers fan, then pulled out a knife and stabbed him at least once in the abdomen.

does anyone know if Comcast has a 4k box? I got a 4k tv now, I know not much programing is in 4k, mainly streaming like netflix is.

but I tried the 4k hdmi cord I got at best buy and no picture showed, and I'm guessing the cable box doesn't suppor it, because I used a reg Hdmi cord, then again I could have had a defect cord.


i got a samsung 50" SUHD 4k something tv.
