I don't mind the break now since we're going in on a high, and I'm sure these days off will help Mason and Umberger.

I am really interested to see what they do with RJ. Ganger has been somewhat productive and VV has been a beast on PK with PEB.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. Hopefully Hak keeps the same lineup until the momentum is gone.

I agree. Right now I wouldn't change anything, except for the 1st PP unit and maybe the goaltender.

This.

Get Schenn back on PP1. With the back-to-backs coming up, I would go with Neuvirth on Tuesday and Mason on Wednesday and then decide who starts Saturday based off of those games, and those games alone.

Two strong games from Neuvirth doesn't erase two plus strong SEASONS from Mason.

Although..

I might consider putting in Umberger for VandeVelde if Umberger is ready to go.

VV has struggled a bit on the 4th line, but he has been solid on the PK. If I had to put Umberger in the lineup, I rather bring him for Gagner.

Gagner who assisted the GWer in his first game and scored the GWer in his second?

I categorically disagree on that one.

We have enough able bodies for the PK to sit VdV until Gagner proves he doesn't belong in the lineup.

I predict at least one scrap in the game. With both Roussel and Travis Moen, the Stars have a tendency to play chippy. I wouldn't be surprised to see them try to instigate something early in a road game. It's always nice to see Roussel get tuned up, so we will see what happens.

This is a letdown game, imo. Big win against the defending champs on national TV. Six days off. They're bound to come out flat.

I think there'd be a better chance of it being a letdown game if it were tomorrow instead of Tuesday. I think they have enough time to refocus and realize that they need to keep working like they were and not get cocky after two wins. I'm not too worried.
