U17 | 5-Nationscup - GAMEPITCH Sports Portal

Games can be watched here
They should be available both live and on demand later. Not sure if this works outside of Germany.

I'll try to post highlight videos from all the games, but my ability to do so will depend on my workload at my job, so I can only promise it for the two games today, because I know I will have the time to do it tonight. Not sure about the rest of the week.

Trying to watch on demand, I see the link for it but no video plays just an image on the screen. I wonder if it has to wait 24 hours? Or it's not all uploaded yet. We'll see I guess.

you have to wait a bit

Yes, in most cases the on demand content becomes available the day after the live stream.

EDIT: And just as I type that I notice that the early game USA-Slovakia is now available on demand.
Anyone who wants to watch, you can skip about 20 minutes before the game begins.

And the game between Germany and Czech Republic is also available now.

It's too late for me to make the highlight videos now, but hopefully I'll have enough time get them done tomorrow.

How is the 03-born class viewed in Germany? I was surprised how close the CZE-GER game was. There was no Stuzle or Reichel unlike last year, but the team seemed to have good depth. Granted, with a few exceptions, I don't think the Czech 03 generation is all that great, especially when missing the best player in Svozil, but I still expected a more one-sided game than that.

I am not a fan of the 03 class actually. There seems to be decent depths but no stand out talent. I honestly don't expect a single player of this class to get drafted, at this point. There are a few who have progressed nicely and if they continue that way, this could change, but as of now, not overly excited for the 03-born players in Germany. The 02 class in particular and even the 04 class have me a lot more excited. That is why I was also very surprised with the result today. I only got to watch a little, and am looking forward to watch the whole game tomorrow.
Especially interested in getting a closer look at Bennet Roßmy who has been playing in the Czech junior leagues for years now and has impressed me the one time I saw him last season.

Agree, the German team played very good yesterday. Interesting to see them in further games

Just finished with the highlight videos from yesterday's games and started uploading the first to youtube.
Once they are both uploaded I'll post them here.

Eventually I will make such videos of all the games, but it may take some time, especially since I may have to leave for an unplanned business trip this weekend and well into next week.

Odd how has Slovakia turned into a kryptonite for the Czech junior teams lately. That being said, this Czech 03 generation looks really weak, likely the weakest since the 98s or 95s borns. Can't see more than 4-5 players getting drafted out of this team. Also the coaching doesn't seem all that good either, three games in and not only the Czechs sleepwalked though the 1st periods each time, but also the game system seems rather chaotic, not to menion the special teams.

Beat the USA 6-3 and just like that we win the tourney. Seems like we finally didn't sleepwalk through the first period plus Suchanek played really well...
