Interesting to see Lambert named to the team over say Samu Tuomaala who I thought was better in recent U16 Sweden matches..

Being good at u16s isn't necessarily the reason to promote someone to u17s, last season Kasper Simontaival for instance did poorly at u16s but on the other hand, played great in 17s.

Lambert's ASM play's very impressive.

Finland's not having a good start, 0-7 vs USA, 1-7 vs Sweden.

Surprised to see Sweden go 7-1 against Finland without our 4 best U17 forwards, and without our top U17 goalie.

Looks like Andrae had a big game against Finland, going 2-2, which surprises me as I'm not that big on him, yet at least. Grans also had a good game, getting 4 assists. Really like what I've seen from Grans so far this season.

Sweden wins against the Czech's 4-1. Goals by Barklund, Olausson, Ekmark, & Hallen for Sweden, Rouha for Czechs.

Sweden - USA tomorrow will determine who takes 1st at the tournament. Not bad for a Swedish team missing their 4 best forwards.
