Thanks mse.

You look at our lineup and are a playoff team. You look at our and D and take some of that optimism away. Therefore it comes down to the goaltending.

I don't know that we are a playoff team looking at our lineup. The Rangers top three or four players aren't as good as ours, but they're better everywhere else. I do think the current mix of lines is about as good as we're going to get, until VdV is gone. At least we have three lines that look decent, and play decent together. Which is nice.

I just hope we find a way to win this game. Otherwise here's what Hak's going to do v the Leafs:

Raffl - Schenn - Voracek
Cousins - Couturier - Weise
Konecny - Streit - Simmonds
VandeVelde - Read - Lyubimov

Gudas - MacDonald
Schultz - Gostisbehere
Manning - Del Zotto

Mason
Neuvirth

Giroux, Bellemare, Provorov Healthy Scratches. To Watch and Learn.

finally a normal GDT.
All hail MSE

You are welcome. I do appreciate the recent creative GDTs if for nothing else to alleviate some of the burdens if not what could be redundancy of past GDTs.

Prediction: this game sets the tone for the rest of the season. Not even a win or a loss, just how they come out and how they play. If they are fired up (which it sounds like they were after that win the other day) and come out swinging, I think they finish the season strong and build off of tonight's game. If they come out and lay and egg, I think the mojo might be gone and it will be a struggle down the stretch.

I read he was a healthy scratch on Sunday, but then I also read he came out for warmups and then went back in, so I guess he wasn't healthy.

To be at this point of the season and only have one minor injury on the team is pretty lucky.

Unless you hoped some players went down and we could see some kids.

One could argue its unlucky that the bad players that Hakstol keeps playing stay very healthy and play and do nothing. lol

I mean, if something minor happened tonight that forced Hakstol to put Weise at 4LW on Thursday and remake the top PK unit I would not be upset.

I'll be there tonight.

Losing 11 of our last 12 in there really sucks and is a far cry from the late 90's early 00's where we owned the Garden.

Hoping we come up big tonight.

The last time we handled the Rangers well was also the last time we had a proven, quality coach.
