He has pretty poor vision, but I think he’s done well.

Awesome shots! Grouse are such weird birds. Often will have you walk right on top of them as they basically freeze and try to let the camouflage do the work.

You probably know this, but for the unenlightened, moose is one of the most dangerous creatures in North America. Most of the males are crazy. Actual crazy. They will attack for no reason, and as enormous as they are, they will pound you to dust.

I think the big cats (cougars) leave them alone when they are full grown males. It takes a hungry pack of wolves to cause trouble for one when it is out of the water. I don’t even think grizzlies mess with them.

I have been real close to a black bear and felt safer than I would have if I was as close to that moose as you.

Zamula actually doesn't mind playing the right side. No idea why they never ventured to try it.

Oh well. At least we didn't have to wait until the team was officially eliminated from the playoffs to see a defenseman called up - only to get Morin and Hagg and not Sanheim.

Yeah we were walking the trail and never saw them until one flapped it's wings as he was up on a branch overhanging the trail. We jumped scared shitless not knowing what it was then relaxed once we saw it. Then realized that there were 4 more there on the ground. Could only get pics of the 2 at the same time.

Yup....we know all about the dangers. We saw people on the trail who let us know where he was so we would not disturb him and to be aware he was there.

If you google skyline trail Cape Breton you will see some even better pics. We have some but we are in them so didn't post. But it's a fantastic trail for those who love the outdoors. At the end of the hike thru the woods, you get to this view:

Last night was his toughest game.... Myers didn't help making a couple critical mistakes but overall Sam has played well for a guy that should be your 6/7 Dman (playing vs physical teams and on your PK). Problem is i'm not sure if the Flyers will give him that chance next year.... Glad to see him on the team and play some games and would love for him to replace Hagg for 1/2 the price but knowing this franchise its doubtful. I'm anticipating Morin and Ghost not wearing O&B next year unfortunately.

Myers BTW had some awesome plays last night 1v1 and along the boards...but then he makes some awful reads that lead to goals. I think we need him to be on our bottom pair with a solid vet and have him work his way up the lineup in 2022. Kid has a ton of potential to be rock on your D with that speed, range just needs to make better reads not rush the offensive side of the game and play with some more edge on a regular basis and watch out.....

Same as with the Phantoms, there is no point playing Braun when Sam could get the ice time.

This ridiculous effort to solidify the 14th draft pick is just so dumb, but an annual Flyers ritual. A week ago, they had a chance to drop down to the 11 slot, but a couple wins and now they're never going to get below Chicago, Arizona and Calgary. Just need to make sure they don't catch Dallas and the Rangers.

It's sad that they can't even tank correctly.

Morin is a LHD, Braun is a RHD.

Morin needs work, his physical presence is fun to watch, but he's pretty clueless out there right now. A summer to continue to work on the knee and a full training camp will help. He'll be in the mix for the #7 spot next season.

I meant I hope this isn't a sign than AV is willing to push Sanheim to RD next year in general. It's going to be another situation where they take someone who has had a lot of success in a specific spot and push them out for no good reason. Gotta make everything more difficult than it needs to be.

That is fantastic! I'd love to do that, I just don't know if my old cranky knees will hold up. My last backpacking trip required a cortizone shot and a lot of rest LOL.
