Yeah they're 1b to the Flyers

Yeah... I don't know... a true blue pens fan will say Flyers are the #1 enemy...

But its not like you can't hate other teams... Boston is hated just as much if not more than the flyers.... but rivalry wise... philly is PE#1

That's kinda what I said. For me I hate Boston almost as much as Philly. In fact hate them both more than the Caps. Or the NY teams

Man, it’s hard to think anything good is going to come from this game regardless of whether Bergeron plays...b2b game against an opponent we do the worst against and who injure our players regularly, and a no name goalie starting...all of our kryptonite right there lol...can’t see a win...just get a split with Boston in this series and no injuries...

The Flyers will always be my most hated team...but the hate isn't boiling there right now. The second things get even mildly heated again I'll revert to despising their very existence.

For now, though, the Flyers don't actively infuriate me and they have enough fans that you can have an actual conversation/debate with without it turning into a stupid pissing contest (maybe because they know they can't win that one :snide: ). Then there are fan bases who you just can't reason with. I've never had a good interaction with an Islanders fan and what positive interactions I do have with Bruins fans inevitably turn into a shouting match within a couple minutes.

To put it another way...when I meet a Rangers fan in the wild it's usually a 'oh cool, another hockey fan' moment. When I meet a Bruins fan in the wild it's like they're offended that anyone could root for another team.

I appreciate that the bulk of the Bostonians I've met in LA despise the entire concept of sports because of growing up around those people

Huge game today and a key is not just shutting down L1, but also Hall's line. He is 1pt/game and +1/game since the trade. This is a real test for the pens PO chances.

I’ll put more weight on Tuesday’s game. This is a back to back in the afternoon so I expect us to get rolled. That being said we’ve lost one game against Boston at home in the last like 4 years.

Props to GDT and stepping up. I wish I had the knowledge to help with the GDT. Pens have 8 games left and B2B is simply part of the deal. If Bergeron is out, Sid can be a significant difference maker. Bruins are stepping up in competition as well so we will see a great contest.

Bruins have a nice lineup. Should be a really good test for us. If Sid's line can kept the Marchy-Bergs-Pasta line in check, then it's a bottom 9 vs bottom 9 showdown. I like our defense and goalie better but...seemingly against the Bruins that does not tend to matter.
