Going to start off with saying that I had a really fun GDT that was about 50% completed, but back spasms and pain killers put that on hold for another time...so this'll just be a bare-bones GDT.

So let me throw this out... We have a few guys on the bottom line that are clearly not used for anything more than defensive purposes... why exactly don't we just replace them with defensemen? we have defensemen who are faster skaters than they are and who are far better at actual defense. moreover we have defensemen who add more to the offensive side... we really ought to be on a 3 game losing streak here.. we are winning soley because of the greatness of Crosby and malkin

Yay, another late game where they'll probably play badly and Bylsma will Bylsma, or they'll briefly respond to being called out and Bylsma will still Bylsma.

Pens better show up tonight. Ill be at the game and this will be the first time Malkin and Crosby have played in Calgary that I have been able to see live. I demand a good game!

I expect an easy and big win for the Pens. how often do they actually lose two games in a row? they like to lose a bad one, get the whole fanbase riled up, and then go back to winning. make everyone believe it was just a fluke. that ensures the maximum amount of rustled jimmies.

;)

It is quite scary to think that if Crosby gets 3 points tonight then he'll be on 70 points before anyone else is even on 60.

I wonder if Calgary is going to dress their two tough guys against us like they've been doing lately. Most teams sit all of their tough guys whenever they play us this season. I'm curious to see whether Westgarth and McGrattan dress tonight.

The Flames have been shut out five times out of seven games lately. They won't be in a good mood, so hopefully we'll be up for the physical challenge tonight.

Unlike Edmonton, Calgary can't hurt us offensively so we should win this one. Still, I have a funny feeling it won't be easy at all.

EDIT: This is the "Where's Iggy" Bowl, part deux

I'm hoping for a little more defensive structure from our boys tonight.
