Did you ever see them live? That's one band I would have killed to see, and don't have any idea why I didn't aside from just not going to many shows in general.

Yes, more than once. They had a reputation for being cold and even stoic on stage, The songs performed live sounded almost similar to the recordings. They were in essence the anti-rock star, reluctant, rock stars. Mostly introverts. Their persona changed due to the influence of MTV. I had the opportunity to meet Benjamin Orr, who has since passed to cancer, a couple of times. He had a remarkable voice, sang about 40% of their songs. As Ric Ocasek said at the Hall of Fame induction ceremonies "Benjamin was supposed to be the lead singer, I was supposed to be the good looking one." Funny stuff.

I know this is one of their hits, but I love this song! Maybe if we were "driving" toward the playoffs it would be more appropriate.

We're gonna get blanked. But in a world where we would score, I hope JVR and Simmonds do. JVR needs to keep rolling, Simmonds needs to tempt a contender.

I honestly hope the guy gets to go win a cup, just no room to do it here in Philly.

We are due for a stinker.
We have nothing but stinkers all season long...

anyway I hope Raffl and Lindblom step up their game.. same goes for Simmonds.. I want Simmer to finish strong for us.

Boston probably playing Halak tonight since teams almost always rest their starter against us. Since we scored 7 the other night, the Flyers will return to their struggling ways of scoring goals.

Does it really matter? Halak has been playing like a bonafide starter this season anyway.
