I was at Nationwide today, and at morning skate Dumo/Malkin/Z all stayed and did additional drills, but right before them Despres was the last one to leave... Hoping he's in tonight, would hate to see him scratched. Also fist bumped Simon, his pudginess almost knocked me over. #FreeDespres

Scuds is still on IR, and we have a 23 man roster. Someone would need to be sent down before the game in order for him to play. My bet is that he doesn't play tonight.

Yeah, being fair, it takes a lot to win with the AHL majority roster that we have had. Got to give him credit for that.

Are you seriously comparing Malkin coming back from an injury to the best player wanting to have a certain player on his line?

One is palatable, and the other is plain dumb if they don't think he's 100% ready for duty coming back from an injury no matter how much he say's he's ready.
