Never know what to expect when they're away in the state of Florida, but I'd still be surprised if they didn't win tonight.

Aside from being at home this is probably the ideal situation to give Zatkoff his first start in...but I never trust us in the state of Florida.


I am disappointed that we won't get to pepper that [redacted] Thomas, though.

People bashing Thomas for his politics is really getting old. Everyone always complains about a lack of personality from NHL players. Well, Thomas is a huge personality. But people didn't like his politics so he needs to shut up. You can only have a personality if everything you say can be agreeable to everyone else I guess.

Looking forward to Zatkoff as I've never seen him play at any level. Just hope we don't drop what should be a definite win because of him.

I can't recall the last time I wanted a goaltender to shut out an opponent more than I want Zatkoff to shut out the Cats tonight.

Of course, it won't matter at all. We'll sink with Fleury regardless.

Oh, I love that trade...but Whitney was still one of the most frustrating players I've ever watched in a Penguins uniform and the frustration manifested into a deep loathing of that guy. Built like a truck, but afraid of even the tiniest contact...and he only had one move on the PP, once that was taken away from him he was hurting us on both sides of the ice.

The day he was traded was probably second only to Ian Moran's departure in terms of celebrated 'get him the **** out of here' deals for me.
