Pretty telling when a player makes sure to give a shoutout to a former GM. Jay really believed in him and rightfully so! Jiri's been awesome

At least it wasn't Stone. I bet this was a 2 horse race.

I'm not sure why everyone was so confident that Johnny was, at least, ahead of Stone.

They had the same number of points, Stone had more goals.

Stone was a very good defensive player, led the entire NHL in takeaways.

Johnny had a excellent rookie season and would have been a deserving winer, but Stone matched him and we slightly ahead of him in many categories.
